Wasn’t this around the time when Douglas Adams was lurking on the newsgroup?
Browsing around old usenet postings brought back some nice memories of being part of something new and cool. And of wasting far too many hours browsing the collective knowledge of the internet using a vt52 terminal.
In a nice coincidence I’m just listening to radio story from the Dr Who site. It turns out Shada was written by DNA, but only partially recorded for TV.
