What do you do when you hear that the country you live is on a high terror alert? Well I went and climbed the Hancock building in Chicago. Sorry probably in bad taste

Been futzing with computers most of the day. I made my mini-itx box worse. I should never have believed the post saying that the latest version of the ALSA audio drivers work. So I ended up trying them, nope still sounds like crap. Then tried the new linux-2.4.21-rc2-ac2 kernel. Hard disk controller works, and OSS audio driver works, but real producer (which I use for streaming my tivo) doesn’t detected the audio driver so that is now not working. Feck. I think I need to go find somewhere to eat and have a drink. Or will I make just one more change the to projectphotos code I have been working on……….(drag me away from the computers please)

well it finally happened. I got a haircut. not sure if anyone will notice :). My hair is still on the long side, but it doesn’t get in my eyes which is what was really annoying me.

New photos and some very old photos are being loaded onto projectphotos.com as we speak. Some of the highlights, Snow in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Photos from my childhood and some photos from .. yikes… 5 years ago when I moved to the US.
